QUICKEN MAC 2016
I am a longtime Quicken user and have used quicken ever since its inception. I dumped my pc and bought a surface which i have mixed feelings about but one thing I do like is the ability to use quicken on the surface. When the new version of Quicken for mac came out I was totally excited, I thought finally a version that i can update from my bank which by the way is US Bank. I bought it and downloaded it and could never set my bank up. It continually ask for me to update the password, understanding that the first time you connect through PFM it requires a bank password change, I did that but everytime i go to download it ask me to update the password so I am not using it and will continue to use Ibank. In addition, Intuit still has not updated their mobile app after years of complaining that it needs a daily balance field for each day. So overall don’t waste your money if you use US Bank not sure about other banks. I even called Quicken support about this after calling my bank and asked if they had updated their PFM software for Mac and they said they did not. I also updated my 2016 on my Surface it works fine so this is a MAC issue. When I spoke with a Quicken support rep he could not help in fact he did not even know what PFM was, not sure why he was answering calls for Quicken banking issues. But completly disappointed and every so often i check to see if this has been fixed but it has not. I am pretty sure I am done with Quicken the surface is fine for other things but the quicken screen is just too small to work with, and considering they have not improved the mobile sync or app I’m finished.
