A very sad collapse of a promising attempt to support Mac users!
I have been a Quicken user for over 25 years, and have been distraught over the self-destruct that has occured with Quicken Mac 2015 starting with the 2.6 updates, which started massively breaking all the finanical institution links. They have no control over the code, clearly no test plans to comprehensively assess planned changes, and absolutely zero help for customers. The video release by their new GM in conjunction with Quicken 2016 should have been an attempt to admit the serious update flaws and commit to making it right for every customer, but it was obvious that he had no idea how bad the situation was on the Mac version.
The support forums are hopeless.
After paying full price for the Quicken Mac 2016 new release in hopes this would fix things, I was saddened to see that most flaws I had been struggling with for the past 6 weeks still remain.
Unless this is fixed, I would strongly advise all customers to find an alternative. I am very sad about this!
For me, it will probably be Moneydance 2015 - not perfect, but at least the my data all imports from all my financial accounts accurately every time, and it properly handles multiple currencies.
