How do I fix the mess Quicken has made???

Starting back in August, Quicken failed to update several accounts. Since then, it created a duplicate set of accounts, to include my business accounts. I did upgrade to Quicken 2016 today, but now my financial records are such a freakin’ mess, and tax season is just a couple months away. How in the world do I fix the mess that Quicken has made of my financial records??? I’m so unhappy with this product, and it’s an expensive program compared to others. I’m so disappointed in the quality, and the hours of work Quicken has caused me.
